Four Star Country Retreat

On the Pond is an elegant four star retreat nestled in a beautiful wooded setting. Our retreat overlooks the Saint John River, one of Canada's most beautiful and historic large rivers.

Our facilities are designed in the tradition of a fine country inn: refined, comfortable, relaxing but never stuffy. Our guests say the personal touches and warm atmosphere make them feel at home and free to enjoy themselves.

High wood-beam ceilings, large fireplaces, wood and stone floors are complemented by the owner's personal collection of antique furnishings.

Nestled in the woods, the Inn has a view of the water only metres away.

The large stone patio and spacious landscaped grounds offer space for outdoor events and activities, or just relaxing on the lawn.

Despite the wilderness setting, On the Pond is easy to get to... only 15 minutes from New Brunswick's capital city, Fredericton a major urban centre. Access via the Trans-Canada highway or the Fredericton airport.

The Inn forms the center for all our events and recreation packages.

We host meetings and events for up to 90 people, with more room for summer-time events on the surrounding grounds.

Overnight accommodations are available for up to 16 guests. A complete health and beauty spa is available in the lower area of The Inn.

Canada Select independently rates establishments across Canada based on range and quality of facilities and services. The four and five star levels indicates "first class or luxurious accommodations-- those offering the greatest range of services and amenities."
