At On the Pond, a charming B&B and spa just north of Fredericton, you may spot deer or heron, among other wildlife; you can fish, golf, hike, boat, cycle and bird watch as well as treat yourself to a spa treatment. We slept surrounded by trees and serenaded by frogs and followed innkeeper Donna Evans on an early morning walk enriched with birdsong. Donna's send-off was a memorable breakfast served in her elegant dining room.
